Mr. Feldges’ performance at The Benton Club was a highlight of the concert season. His attention to phrasing, articulation, and dynamics were of the highest calibre and his choice of repertoire (which included the 19th-century virtuoso Johann Kaspar Mertz and J.S. Bach), was flawless for the setting.
It is also worth noting that his amiable yet humble nature—conveyed via his solid stage presence—helped to further communicate his strikingly individual musical ideas to the audience. The concert was a resounding success and he will hopefully visit us again soon in the midst of his rapidly expanding career.
